Holy penguin popsicle, Batman! Two of Batman’s most cold-hearted enemies, The Penguin and Mr. Freeze, have joined forces to stop the Dark Knight’s crime-fighting ways once and for all. What they seem to have forgotten (again and again) is that Batman is nothing if not well equipped. His secret base features a high-tech two-level control center with spiral staircase and storage locker for weapons, costume change chamber, dungeon, rocket and net launcher that actually fires, and, of course, the Batmobile and Batboat (as well as a dock and repair bay). The Penguin has a submarine, and Mr. Freeze is always prepared with his chilling weapons and special refrigeration suit. But really, do the aristocrat of crime and the cryogenically modified villain even have a chance against the good guy? Assembled correctly (no mean feat!), this fantastically elaborate Lego set, with its 1,075 pieces, will provide hours, days, weeks of enjoyment for Batman fans. Great Product, Great Price!
This easel is a great buy! Very sturdy and high quality as most of mellisa and doug products. Colorful, kid friendly and easy to put together. Both the writing boards and the trays are adjustable for the height of your child. It folds up easy, but stands strong. This easel DOES have a place for a paper roll!! I did not think it did by the amazon description (I almost bought a more expensive one for the paper roll but decided to go with this and am so glad I did) ... the roll goes in the center between the boards and the paper comes up through the top and under a paper guide in front of the dry erase side. I can't image why you would spend more on another brand of easel, this one has everything I could think of wanting and is simple, solid wood, looks good and is super functional. This is the first review I have written, but wanted to pass on how happy I am with this product.

Great easel; not so great chalkboard
I bought this easel as part of the classroom I set up for my preschooler. I love the adjustable size, durability and ease of use. My only complaint was the chalkboard. Though I followed the priming instructions diligently, I found that even the good chalk scratched the board and did not write well. Melissa and Doug did reply immediately to my concern and were willing to do whatever necessary to correct the problem. On a whim, I decided to try some chalkboard paint instead. It now writes beautifully, and I love the black chalkboard, rather than the green it came as. It is perfect.

My son wanted a castle tent for Christmas, and I figured Santa might be hard-pressed to find such a thing. Well, lo and behold, we found this tent and it is just the ticket! This tent is colorful, sturdy, stimulates the imagination, and can accomodate 3-4 children at a time easily. We have had two adults and a 4-year-old in there at the same time comfortably, so this product is good for older children as well. So many play tents are really for the preschool set, but this is wonderful for elementary-age children as well. It is easy to set up, and can be used inside or outside. We are very pleased with this purchase!

On the lowest setting the LEDs occasionally proved to be too bright for viewing lighter-colored objects, and these images could not be seen clearly on the TV screen. On the higher magnification settings, however, this did not seem to be a problem and textures and colors came through flawlessly.

Oh what fun!
After playing with this toy at a friend's, (I am 37 and the toy belonged to a 6 yr. old) I decided to purchase it as a gift for our good friend's 5 yr. old. I think the adults at the party had just as much fun as the kids. I highly recommend it. It's so cool to see things magnified (clothes, carpet, dog hair).

Fantastic Edutainment Toy
A friend said his daughter (10) wanted a microscope and I suggested that he consider the Eyeclops instead. Then I realized that I hadn't reviewed it. [I mention this so you know that I really like the Eyeclops; enough to recommend it to friends]
